Original Color Map
The original map I created on Inkarnate while world-building. Albeit far less pretty than John's hand-drawn version, the colors help designate where the North and South Verdants are, and this is the one I reference while writing because it hangs right on the wall next to my desk.
Revealed Lore
The Ul'Varin
The skeletons of fire and ice that resurrect upon the slopes of the Vents are one of Ralvera's greatest mysteries. Whether you believe them to be friend or foe, their visage is a grim reminder of the unnatural power of the Vents, and that while death comes for us all, its grasp is tenuous at best.
The Tauninaga
Even the most traveled of folk will struggle to find the secluded forest creeks, alpine lakes, and tepid swamps that the tauninaga call home. The six species, each perfectly adapted to their environments, are wary to strangers at best and deadly at best. Their dreams, laced with the ancient magic of the Fae, can be brought from sleep into reality, twisting the world to their whim.
